2010 Annual Meeting

Join us in historical Philadelphia, PA for our Annual Patient/Doctor Meeting. Come hear leading physicians, researchers, patient advocates, and others in our must-see event of the year! More information can be found on our website at http://www.pemphigus.org/2010am.

Newcomers can hear Dr. Grant Anhalt in "Introduction to Pemphigus" on Saturday morning. This session is geared towards newly diagnosed patients and caregivers to gain a better understanding of the diseases, terminology, and what to expect from treatments and medications. If you are not a new patient, this session is a great refresher to stay on top of your disease.

Local physicians will be on hand covering topics such as wound care, treatments, oral involvement, and much more. 

Also this year we will be having group break out sessions where you can join one of our speakers in a smaller group of patients to discuss specific issues that matter the most to you. 

Instead of our traditional Saturday Evening Gala Dinner, this year we are having an Awards Luncheon for all attendees. This is included in the cost of your ticket and will feature great food, inspirational talks, and our Annual Awards presentations. Saturday evening will be our Social Mixer where attendees are welcomed to join members of our Board of Directors, staff, event speakers, and other patients in a casual atmosphere to mingle and relax. Feel free to stay for as long as you want or venture out to many of the local establishments and attractions within walking distance from the hotel. The evening is yours to enjoy Philly!

The full agenda is being finalized, but promises to be packed with information and insight into pemphigus and pemphigoid research, emerging treatments, and the path towards a cure. This is a brief synopsis and is scheduled to change.
